I sit all day at work and have an under the desk pedal that I use to keep moving throughout the day (Score!) I have to put my hand on my knee for it to track the "steps" and my niece says that I am cheating in the challenges. I think that because I am moving that it is not.
What do you think?

Well, @Thatchick77, whether or not it is cheating in a challenge depends on the rules of the challenge. If it is cheating anyone, it is yourself. Are you getting any fitness benefit from the pedals? If so, you're not cheating yourself, otherwise you are.... You make the call.

Totally teaching. It's a steps challenge, not a toe tapping challenge.

I am totally getting a benefit from it. I sit for 8 hours a day, and I am not pedalling for the full 8 hours. It is the daily showdown in the fitbit app.

Hmm I wonder how many calories you are burning. Can you track that?

Let whoever initiated the challenge decide. Their challenge, their rules.
