@LaTonya Hey there! I haven't read any books like that but I would love to. Do you have any recommendation? Which is the best book that you've read about this, for you?

I am reading an advance review copy of Tara Stiles upcoming book "Make Your Own Rules Diet". I think it is released 11/11. Depending on your interests you may like it, I haven't read all of it yet and like most of it. She seems to have issues with calorie counting for both food and fitness and weighing oneself. I disagree with that but my experience is different than hers as I have never had an eating disorder (other than moderate overeating). I do like that it encourages self awareness and the three aspects are nourishing the body, moving and I forget what she calls the third it has to do with relaxing and meditation. @LaTonyaI read A LOT of nutrition, fitness, and well-being books. I've think it's tough to put all of those subjects into one book. My 89-yr-old neighbor gave me Thrive, by Arianna Huffington. I'm almost done with it and while it doesn't touch on fitness or nutrition, it does touch on having balance in ones life and well-being. I've also enjoyed The Eat Clean Diet, by Tosca Reno. Easy, sound, simple nutrition to follow and some fitness recommendations as well.
I did read a previous post about Tara Stiles' new book. I had the opportunity to take a yoga class from her and also a motivational class during a fitness convention and have to say in person, she is awesome. She has this honest, goofy, down-to-earth personality. I am definitely going to get her book just because I love her personality.
Good luck!

Hi!
Great topic, and one I almost started until I saw this. I can't believe there are not more posts.
In the spirit of
"If you want to know where you'll be in five years, look at two things:
1. The people you hang around, and
2. The books you read.
One book that really helped me understand the importance of walking was "Younger Next Year". He also suggested the need for future events/goals to boost motivation.
Best,
Jim
