How to read the app analysis

Can someone help me make heads or tails of the activity analysis on the app?  

 

It shows your time in cardio, peak, and fat burn..ok.  I've been riding my bike on a trainer the last two months.  In the early months when I was starting, I noticed I was in fat burn for a long time.  Now I seem to spend more time in cardio or peak and very little in fat burn.  What is the benefit of each phase?  And what am I doing to be in each phase?  Basically, I'm really new to all this and have no clue how to read and interpret that information.

And I can't seem to find any tutorials or anything. Help!!

ok now I've read the blog post I have questions. I figured out my Max heart rate and what each zone HR's are.  BUT, when I'm on my trainer when I get to 140 it says fat burn on the display of my fitbit.  But when I figured out my Peak, Cardio and fat burn zones, 140 is Peak.  So what does that fatburn mean on my fitbit display when I hit 140?
