Hi There, sorry if this is a silly question. my gym sessions usually involve interval training on the treadmill and floor. mixed with small weights circuits. i just upgraded to the charge 3 where the excersize tracking is for specific exercises.
my question is how you would track this? would you keep switching between different tracking on the device or do it all under treadmill? orrr plan it so all my treadmill work is at the begining and then switcht to interval and then switch to weights? id like your opinion. thanks 🙂

I would say it depends on the duration of each exercise: if you are doing five minutes of this, followed by five minutes of that, it may not be worthwhile logging them as separate activities, even if they would match better what you’re actually doing. You could also use one generic activity (e.g. "Workout") for everything you do at the gym, even if it includes training with weights, cardio on the treadmill etc.

hey, yeah thank you i think thats what i have to do. its more like 10 minutes cardio/treadmill then ill do some circuits of weights and interval training and then back to treadmill. i think i will put it as workout unless i commit to a 30 minute hiit workout or 30 mins weights. thank you 🙂

I would just use the generic "workout" option. That's what I do when I'm doing weights mixed with other activities.
