What does number of "impact" steps mean in my daily total of steps?
How are impact steps different from regular steps? What's the difference?
I don't understand.

Best Answer@charsuzy Like @JohnnyRow said in his previous post, it literally just means that during XYZ exercise, you took 11,453 steps out of your 15,258 for the day (or however many steps you have total so far). The same logic applies to calories burned and zone minutes. It doesn't mean anything more than that.
Yesterday I took a total of 15,258 steps and 11,453 were from this particular exercise. That's all there is to it.
I just answered this in another forum. It's not necessary to ask multiple places, especially at the same time.
