Is it cheating when I put on a walking DVD, but I don't follow the moves?
I was still walking in place. So it's not like I wasn't getting a workout or anything. I just wasn't doing the moves on the screen. I started out with the video, but then I started to sort of ignore it. It got so that I was more into it for the music than anything.
I'm thinking of getting myself a movie that I want to watch and walking in place to that next time.

I don't know why it would cheating, or who it was cheating, @CRSunrise. The object is to Move, and you were Moving. Sounds fair to me....

I am not sure I follow the question- you moved and burned calories- whom did you cheat? Waving your arms or punching the air is great to break up the routine and add movement, but if you are content just walking- go for it. My husband binge watches netflix while he walks. whatever works- do it.
