I also use all three, and personally I just use Map My Fitness for outdoor workouts like jogs or bike rides that use the GPS. I don't log anything manually, I just let it report the estimated calorie burn to fitbit and MFP.
If I'm on a treadmill or an eliptical or some other indoor workout, I don't bother with map my fitness - I will usually just set the fibit to activity mode and let it record the steps/HR data/calorie estimate and report to MFP automatically. I know it will never be perfect but all these tools are just estimating anyways so there's no point in getting overly concerned 🙂 There's no reason to assume the readout on the treadmill is more accurate than what your fitbit says, and I find they are usually pretty close anyways.

Thanks for your reply! That's what I'm thinking now - a time & place for each one of them!

Have you tired Ride with GPS. Excellent way to discover new routes and make friends with local cyclists.

Haven't tried that one, but I only ride a stationary bike!
