I'm competing with another user to see who the first one to reach 2000 miles is between us. However, on his chart that displays my information, it shows that I am 16 miles ahead of him. However, on my chart showing his information, it says I am 18 miles behind him - kind of hard to really compete when we are both looking at different numbers. (e.g. my lifetime miles show myself at 1806, whereas his view of my lifetime miles shows 1822 miles). Similarly, I congratuated a user the other day for hitting 7,500,000 steps for his lifetime steps. He did not know what I was talking about, since his lifetime steps only showed 4,800,000 steps. Is this a known problem?

This happens when there have been manually logged steps.
The total steps you see in your Fitbit.com account in the "My Achievements " section, are steps purely tracked and synced by your Fitbit One. The steps your friends see in the other hand, are these steps plus manually logged steps.

Can you display lifetime miles on your dashboard, and if so, how?
