To lose the Love Handles
Here are the three areas of concentration:
1) Healthy Diet (to build energy and burn fat);
2) Cardio-vascular and resistance training (to burn fat and build muscle), and;
3) Targeted Abdominal exercises (to help firm the muscles under the fatty area)

As my old fitness coach used to say, "if you want to lose your gut, exercise your legs". The point is that you need to work on your large muscle groups (legs and back are key) to increase your body's fat burning ability and start burning off some of those love handles.
Contrary to popular belief, doing sit-ups won't help much. You may develop strong abs, but nobody will see them under your love handles.
