Fitbit is only fun with friends but they make it SUPER difficult to make them.

Go to fitbit on your phone (connected to google account), click the box with your name and joined info, click DisplayName, click and set username

Once you switch to google you only see others with google, no fix until 2025 I've heard.

Set your username as what to display. now you can give that out for friends 🙂
