Can anyone suggest an iPhone app that will sync with the Ionic and outline a training program on a daily basis in preparation for the marathon?

AFAIK, the Ionic will only sync with the Fitbit app. Other mobile apps (e.g. Runkeeper, Endomondo etc.) may connect to your Fitbit account, but they won’t be able to access your Fitbit tracker directly (for instance, to use its GPS feature).
