Since some medication inhibit metabolism, is there a way to enter things such as beta blockers into the app for more thorough calculations?

Yes, some medications can negatively affect weight loss (*). However, there’s no way Fitbit can take this into account. 

 

(*) I listened to an interesting podcast with Dr. Spencer Nadolsky on the subject. One of the takeaway messages I got from it is it’s worth seeing with your doctor if there would be a medication with less adverse effects on weight loss for your condition.
