Greetings, I'm looking for advice on which heart rate monitoring device will be most durable. My girlfriend got me a blaze whose screen got cracked and now I gotta hear about it till I get another one. I can't seem to find any ready information on which is the most durable. Thanks

I don't know which would be considered the most durable, @Mjlepage. I had the Charge HR, and now have the Charge 2, and have not had a problem with the screen with either of them. How did you crack the screen on your Blaze? That might be a clue....
Best AnswerIt got scratched somewhere along a 21k I did. It got gradually worse then cracked and continued to get worse. I wouldn't mind paying a repair fee for the screen. No other remedy but a 25% discount on a new device is not appealing.

The Blaze display is made of Corning Gorilla Glass 3, as mentioned by @zapleahy here. Your display probably didn’t get cracked all by its own: it must have been submitted to some serious impact. I’ve been wearing a Surge (display made of the same Gorilla Glass as the Blaze) since May 2015 and its display is still in perfect order. OTOH, I don’t do any extreme activities and I’m usually quite careful with my belongings.

Take a look at the Fitbit help site for further assistance and information.
After reviewing available devices I think I'll be getting the flex 2. I do a lot of high I tensity activities and don't need a glass screen on my wrist. That gorilla glass isn't very effective.

Right; i am aware of that. Due to my active lifestyle, though, I cannot
have a screen that breaks so easily. Thanks for commenting
