My daughter's first visit to the dentist

Will the dentist be able to suggest a solution for all of these dental problems? Please give some genuine replies and suggestions. Thanks in advance.

Hmm. To start with, you picked the wrong forum: D Secondly, how can we answer this question anyway?) You didn't give any specifics about the issues your daughter has. To identify and describe it in specifics, check this site www.dentalspecialists.net. It has the full and understandable description of all the specifics about dental cavity and dental issues. Treat it as an educational source. Peace

It's very good that you went to the Dunstist. It is important to visit Dunstist at least 2 times a year in order for your teeth to be healthy and strong enough. Your daughter should not be afraid, the dentist is a good person whose main goal is to help you. I honestly don't know what advice to give because I don't remember my first visit to the dentist. Perhaps if your daughter does not want to go to the dentist, you can offer her to buy a toy or candy if she goes to the dentist. This usually works. I plan to go to dental implants Seminole soon and can ask the dentist how to make the very first dentist visit the most enjoyable for the child.

What kind of dental problems exactly are you talking about? Because some dentists specialize in certain things. We usually visit only one dentist, but when we wanted to place braces, we had to go to an orthodontist, and we were not happy with our choice.

How old is your child? My son is 8, and his permanent teeth just started to grow. They tend to be crooked. Besides, he has some problems with malocclusion. We have visited an orthodontist, and he offered us to have aligners instead of braces. He states that there are more efficient and less painful. Have you heard about them? I know that braces can be quite harmful, especially for children. They make teeth more sensitive because of this special glue and metal. The more I read about teeth alignment, the more appropriate they seem to me. We already found the best available teeth alignment for our son. But I would like to know if someone tried it before.

Used a recommendation from here, thanks a lot. I've had a lot of bad experiences with dentists, so this one felt like a dream.

Honestly, we shouldn't teach children to be fearful of dentists cause it's such an important part of one's life. I go to the dentist once a month and it just feels like relaxation and me-time. My friend's daughter is absolutely terrified of the dentist and from what my friend told me it's cause the first time she went the doctor did something that made her hurt, so she didn't wanna go from then on. On the other hand, my kids and I are always excited to go to a cleaning session cause it feels the same as going to a facial for us. I found the dentistry online https://jeffreygrossdds.com/ after I looked at some reviews and I'm so glad I did.

I'd recommend you to cheer your daughter up since she'll feel comfortable and safe with your words and let her know that everything is gonna be fine. I tell you this due to my own experience when I was a child.

I remember that I was six years old and a dentist took out a molar from me due to a bad habit I had with candies but the dentist gave me a hard time since it hurt a lot since my molar was very hard to be be extracted by him. Then my mother bought me a hamburger a few days after, when I was able to eat anything and I was happy afterwards hahaha

My daughter has a phobia of dentists and the first visit there was terrible. I still remember how horrible she got in there and how loud she cried. Along the way, the dentist tried to become friends with her and in this way, the fear was alleviated, but she did not disappear. I always go to the same company for any dental procedures and the last procedure was teeth whitening. https://www.bridgedentalsmiles.co.uk/treatments/tooth-whitening/ made the results impressive. I decided that in a year, I will do this procedure again.
