New FitBit user

Hi! I just bought my FitBit about two weeks ago. I'm looking for friends that can definitely help me by doing challenges:) also if you have tips on how to get those extra steps let me know. I work in a school so I don't really get many steps in sitting down in an offfice 😕

I would be happy to do Challenges with you. I love them.


Here are some ways I get extra steps:

Get up frequently from your desk. Go to a bathroom that's far away, walk to talk to a coworker instead of calling or emailing them. Walk to the copier instead of sending the document remotely. Anything that gets you up and moving.

 

Outside of work, park as far away from the entrance as you can and walk. Walk around the mall and windowshop. I jog in front of the TV in the evenings. If it's a nice day, I'll take a walk when I get home.

don't know about school dinners nowadays, but when I was in school, they weren't very healthy, so we would walk into town

To add friends.

 

Go to: https://www.fitbit.com/friends

 

At the right side, by 'find more friends', click 'Invite by Email'. Follow on screen instructions to send the invite, when accepted, you'll be Fitbit Friends. :smileywink:

 

On the forums:

 

Click on the username next to the post, on the next page next to the users picture click 'go to fitbit profile', on the next page click 'add friend' (next to the users picture).
