Hi there!
I've been using Fitbit for a month now would love to find friends to encourage and support!
Ive gained weight in the past 6-7 years (about 35 lb) and have been losing and gaining back most of it:)
Tried many diets. Only one worked: low cal low carb AND exercise. Hello Fitbit!
Anyone who is determined to work hard to get fit, willing to share encouragement and support, add me!

I also have about 30LB to lose, dont believe in diets, the only way is to exercise, the fitbit had provided me with the impetus to achieve the required cal burn each day and hopefully gradually reduce this tyre that i am inadvertently carrying around.

Although diets do have a point.. A smaller one than we are brought to believe! I cut pasta, rice, pizza , all obvious sugar out of my diet , but still didn't see results untillI I started counting calories and getting active!!
Jacksoc6, what is your timeline for losing them 30?

Hi Mina38, my intention is to lose the unwanted pounds the same way as i collected them, very slowly, I would like to achieve realistic weight loss, aiming for 1 to 2 pounds a week, cut out the sweet things, biscuits, reduce bread intake and attain the daily fitbit targets.

I'm 58 and have been using fitness trackers for about a year now, and just got the fitbit Blaze almost a week ago.

I started power walking about a year ago. When I first started I could only walk 1 mile at a 3 to 3.5 mph pace before feeling like I was going to die. I was obese (75 lbs. overweight). Now I can power walk over 8 miles at a 4 to 4.5 mph pace with no problem.

I have increased my fitness level from poor to good, have lost 57 lbs. so far, and am actually eating more and still losing about a lb. a week becasue I burn so many calories power walking every day.

I still have about 20 lbs. to lose, and have no doubt I will succeed.

I sent a request to each of you.

I got my fitbit about 6 months ago (as a replacement for a broken watch) and it has helped in my attempts to control and lose the extra midsection I had acquired from years of couch surfing.

Still have about 20kg (44lb) to lose and have found the group challenges a great encouragement to get those extra steps in and the vibration of success when you meet your goal doesn't hurt either 🙂

Hi I'm also looking forward to making new friends, I tried Fitbit challenges with friends and friends of friends but since I am a stay at home mom/house wife and they all work, it kinda wasn't fair because I have all day to get steps in while they were stuck behind their desks. So anyway I'm looking for fair competition please add me. I am 221 lbs 34yrs old and my goal for now is to lose 60lbs. Lose Weight, Motivate! 🤗
