Is anyone running backwards? I read about it on @gerard f.'s blog. Here is what he writes about it:
I also train L.B.F. Lower Body Fusion, this is when i leave the comforts of the gym and hit the park. LBF is a combination of Power Walking and Hill Sprints, and running Backwards up hill and made more challenging by adding military/tactical boots instead of sneakers. LBF training is a total Leg workout, incorporating Lower Back, and the Abdomen. LBF training mimics real life activities and movement while building leg strength plus the benefits of Cardio.
I've tried it recently (albeit with sneakers, as I don't own military boots!) and it's quite fun. I've only done it on flat ground so far, and that's already challenging enough! I like his idea of making changes to your workout routines, to "confuse" your body or "keep it guessing".

The area where I live is the opposite of crowded, so I don't need to worry about people wondering who's this crazy guy doing things the wrong way
