Hoping to keep the good encouragement that was going on the thread named the same in the old forums. Wish FItbit would have transferred the active threads automatically. I did the virtual Jingle bell 5K this afternoon on the treadmill. 11:29 pace. Not my best but it is done. Jill I agree with the weather kind of hindering things. I am trying my hardest to continue running outside. So I am now only one day behind on the streak. I will try to catch that up after the gym tomorrow evening. Hope everyone is doing well and can find this thread!

I hope it will keep me motivated and let me compare my runs and see some improvement.

Getting ready to head to get my car haircut and then to the park for a quick run. Supposed to be rainy tomorrow so I plan on heading to the gym while the kids swim there I can run.

Ran 4.5k tonight on the treadmill...Cant wait for the lighter nights so I can hit the roads. Really need to sort my day out so that I can run during the day rather than on an evening. I am amazed how many steps you clock up when running!
Going to try to fit another run in tomorrow.

Jill-Hope you have a good run
Keltie-Sounds like you had a good run. It does rack up the steps!
No run for me today. Hope to get one in tomorrow. Will have to check the weather and either beat the rain or if not to bad run in it.

Thanks Leslie! Hope you are feeling good. I did make it to the park and went for a long workout. I ran about 4 miles total and walked 2.2 miles total. Granted the run wasn't straight through. I ran 2 miles and then walked a mile and then ran again. However, it was so nice out but a bit breezy where I was. I loved it and realized I need to work more at my outdoor performance. I feel like without the treadmill speed consistency, I am all over the place.

Leslie, I saw you posted the link about the 5K for January. Did we decide which one and who's doing it? What is the Aim High Program?

What we did in December was the team challenge. So that is what I think we should do for Jan as well. The Aim high is a mileage goal driven challenge. It is in 50 mile increments. It also has an on-line log so you can track your mileage. If you want to do this month I think Jerry would be fine with that. Not sure about Barbara and what she is doing. I think we need to determine where we are going to post though as this is getting confusing...lol

I signed up for a 10K at the end of March. So I hope to start C210K training again next weekend. Winter has finally arrived in NJ so the outside runs are probably going to be slim. I don't run in the dark so normally my only outside runs are on the weekends. Can't wait for spring.
