Seriously iWatch to Fitbit isn’t a thing!!??

I am desperately disappointed that I can’t use my new iwatch in challenges! I still have my Old Fitbit but I m not going to wear two watches! Is this in the pipeline to be sorted!?

@Bruceygun, it is not likely that the Apple watch will be integrated into the Fitbit app any time in the near future.  If you decided to change technologies from Fitbit to Apple, there is not much that can be done about that.

As Iwatch is somewhat of a competitor to fitbit, it would seem unlikely they will be compatible and interchange information. Sorry. But you could invest in a zip that clips on discreetly under clothes and counts your Fitbit steps toward d those challenges and badges while wearing your iwatch on your wrist.

Facetime is a very good solution, much better than Skype IMO, but you need to have Apple devices to use it. If I replaced my iPad with a Nexus, would I complain Nexus/Android to Facetime "isn’t a thing"? Well, no: Apple never made any promise they would let non-Apple devices use Facetime. Just like Fitbit never made any promise they would let users of non-Fitbit devices join their challenges. Both Apple and Fitbit, as profit-driven entities, have perfectly good reasons to keep outsiders out of areas like Facetime or challenges.

Apple is free to create the equivalent of Fitbit challenges for the iWatch platform. But if they were to do so, do you think they would let users of Fitbit trackers join their challenges?

Currently "not planned", but you can add your vote for it so Fitbit knows how much interest there is.

@Bruceygun my iPhone is setup as Fitbit step tracker, in the Fitbit app. That allows me to participate in Challenges without having a Fitbit tracker and wearing both an Apple Watch and Fitbit tracker.

Fitbit hasn't added support to read steps from Apple Watch.
