Did you mean:

This is where I work, read and play.

66de0acb-28d4-4911-85f5-5c546bd51076.jpg

I can stand when I'm on a conference call or just typing up email.

I can walk on an incline while playing games or watching youtube.

I can run while watching netflix.

The cost for this redneck engineering feat? $5X3 shelves from home depot.

I already had the rest. dual monitor stand, wireless keyboard, mouse, bluetooth speakers, bluetooth headset, PS3 controller and my body.

Thanks.

I actually didn't mention eat, but I do eat there. It's probably not the best thing for digestion.

But I did clean up all the protein bar wrappers before taking that picture. It's still pretty messy, but there is actually room  for a plate if i move everything to the right. I can also move the keyboard up to the console, since that's not going to be useful unless I'm working.

Most important of all, this is also where I do dualingo:)

This is amazing, I'm jealous. The only thing I would change is the PS3, but I don't want to start a console debate. Smiley Wink

@Piggy Very impressive rig! I can barely pat the top of my head and rub my stomach at the same time, let alone play PS3 while simultaneously climbing an incline. You have some serious skillz!

I have to admit, using the PS3 controller was by far the hardest of them all. It took quite awhile to get used to it. I use diablo 3 for that training. It was much easier to play on the keyboard/mouse. If your fitbit is on the wrist though, the steps will not register.

Think of it this way. It's definitely worth the training. The amount of core strength needed to keep yourself from falling was way more than I expected. I fell off the track to the sides quite a few times.

It's been nice to use my new toy on the workstation. Since my tailbone is still bruised from snowboarding, this is a whole lot less painful than sitting:-D

It's a PS3 controller, hacked and hooked up to a PC, not hooked up to a PS3. My PS3 died on the day PS4 was released. Perhaps that will give you some pleasure in knowing;)

@Piggy Ahh I misunderstood, I saw "PS3" and jumped to conclusions. In that case, I approve your entire setup! Smiley Very Happy

Unfortunately this **ahem** is going back:(

I had high hopes for this, but dying after 2 days and constantly having to reset 10 times and still not able to sync. It's just not worth my time anymore.

Oh no @Piggy! Let's get you back on track and cover all bases for this problem.

First, let's complete these steps to help you sync your tracker. Just in case, verify that the Fitbit app for Android its on its latest version.

Last but not least, check if there any Bluetooth-dependant devices near this space, this guide should help.

Let me know if you have any questions, good luck! Smiley Happy

It stopped syncing with all devices.
After a total of 16 resets, 20 Bluetooth restarts and 2 android restarts, it's syncing with one device. Still nada with the other 2.
Amazon is sending me another one. I doubt it'd last more than 2 day or have better luck syncing, but I figure I would give it one more try.
It's totally unacceptable to require a reset more than once a year not to mention hmmm lost count, nevermind.

Alright, replacement tracker on my wrist.

Let's hope this one doesn't die on me in 2 days.

Good news and bad news

I'm happy to report that my replacement tracker is now lasting exactly 4 days on my first and second charges.

The bad news is

1. all day sync and notifications are still turned off and there is no alarm.

2. sync issues still require repeating reset, restart, reboot until you get lucky

It's still pretty sad, but it's at least tolerable.
