Tracking Activity

What's the most accurate way to track activity.  Is it better to manually log a treadmill workout and use the information from the machine or use the activity tracker on my fitbit one.  The stats I get differs so much from each one.  Also why does the activity tracker info not show up in my premium activity stats???

If you are using the flex you can tap the band as if you were putting it into sleep mode and it will actually put it into activity mode, when when you are done just tap back out of that mode.

I don't think you can see the stats from a phone app, but you can see them on your online profile and it will show you the breakdown of steps/calories/etc. for that particular activity.

Yes I can do that with the Fitbit One as well.  What I want to know is what is the better more accurate way to record activity and when I do use the activity tracker instead on manually inputting why doesn't it show up in my premium activities.

@cheeky_monkey Wouldn't it be wonderful to be able to see and analyse the timed activities. I have had Premium for.nearly 3 years and use the Custom trackers as an index to my.standard timed activities.

Why don't you manually correct your stride length so they don't differ so much?

I think it depends on if you are using a slope.  If you are using a slope, I would log in the activity separtely since fitbit does not take into account if you are going uphill.
