Sometimes I get so busy doing yard work that I don't have the time or energy for exercise. Today was like that. When I looked at my heart rate graph I saw a 90 minute excursion into the moderate zone while I was mowing the lawn so I logged it as a 90 minute activity. I just put in the start time and the duration.
Fitbit did the rest. It calculated zone minutes, cardio load, steps, calories, and a heart rate graph. It turned out to be more than I get with my usual treadmill routine and gave me credit for an exercise day.
Now I don't feel so bad about blowing off the treadmill.

when I am cutting the grass Fitbit autodetects the activity as "mountain biking".......I guess because of the position of my hands and bouncing around.

@Ejhhiker Detected hand/arm motion appears to be a prime determinator of what activity the device thinks you're doing.
