Can I improve my vo2 max , if I walk everyday , or must I run for improving vo2 max .

A lot of factors take place it will reduce the fitter you get etc
But Google it. There is a lot of info out there that can help you
FYI you do not need to run. I never will and mine reduced by losing weight and exercises. Please google

It depends on how challenging walking is for you. If you’re getting back into shape after a long period of low physical activity, walking can improve your cardio fitness. If you’re already in shape, it may simply maintain the existing fitness level.
If running is not an option for you, you can make walking more challenging by switching to nordic walking (with sticks).

I also run , but I want to walk more , it’s more fun. I want to know , if walking is also efficient.

Well, then run for improving VO2 Max, if that’s important to you, and walk for enjoyment. Not everything you do has to be "efficient".
