Weighted vests / clothing

ANSWERED

I am now somewhere between 50 and 75 pounds below my peak

Which is of course an awesome thing

However.

The lighter I get, the easy and less effective excercise becomes.

I can run considerably faster than I used to be able to, because there is considerably less weight to be carried when I do.

A 10kg weighted vest should make things significantly more challenging and speed up my losses?

And also make me feel more like Goku...

I used weighted vests a lot, up to 20kg, but I'd definitely recommend trying one on before you buy if at all possible.

My first one chafed my shoulders like mad, but the extra exertion in cardio and resistance training is awesome. Vests are on the expenive side, but once you've adusted it to your preference they're fairly comfortable to run with in terms of weight around the torso, just takes a tiny bit of time to get used to the extra weight and swing.

Lol, I do guarantee you'll feel like a beast at the end of the run, they're a bit of an investment but well worth it.

oh

my

god

Saw a 10kg weighted vest for beer money .7 miles away

Took me 10minutes to get there

30 minutes to get back carrying the box

And this is *just* the weight I've lost in the last year or so.

Ok, carrying a weight in your arms is a lot harder than distributed around your body, but I think I've lost a lot more muscle than I was expecting.

Good job I didnt buy the 20kg....
