What’s everyones average HR walking in a normal pace?

Preferably people with no health problems answer this question, just trying to see something. Mine goes to 120 at a normal pace.

Hello there @gonelmo1, welcome to the Fitbit Community.

That's a great question! Average heart rate during a normal-paced walk can vary quite a bit from person to person. Factors like age, fitness level, and even the terrain you're walking on can all play a role.

I'm 26 years old, and my heart rate during an average 6 km walk is consistently between 96 and 115 bpm. I hope that works for you!

As stated by EstuardoFitbit, there are a lot of factors, even if healthy, but here's my take: I'm between 94 and 111. Did a casual walk (2,400 steps) to the bodega earlier. Here's the rub on factors and my day in numbers:
Age: 55
Location: NYC
Steps: 14,355 (slow day, I'm taking the week off).
Zone Mins: 325
Cardio load: 287
Active Zone Mins: 325
Distance: 6.62
Energy Burned: 4,928
Heart: 57 to 163

A benefit to living in NYC is that it's a walking city, so 18,000 to 25,000 steps a day are baked into 5/6 days of the week. If I go out with the fellas and come in later than usual, I could be in the 30k steps range...easy.
Heart rate is usually low. I was on the phone on my walk, and that increases HR, so I would probably be 10 to 15 beats lower on a similar casual walk.

Hope that helps your research!

I am a 76 year old male.  I walk with my 79 year old wife on a 2 mile beach trail at about a 16:00 pace.  My HR averages about 96.

My walking heart rate depends on where I am. I spend the workweek at 5000 feet elevation and my walking heart rate there is in the 80s or 90s. I spend weekends at 7500 feet elevation and my walking heart rate is between 90 and 105. If I visit sea level, my walking heart rate can barely get up to 70.

I do most of my walking on flat ground, but sometimes tend to walk fairly quickly. My HR usually 120. However about once a week, my Charge 6 tells me to slow down. This happens when my heart rate hits >150. Sometimes I get in the high 150

That seems high even for me when my heart rate jumps to 110 - 120 during any mild exercise and then drops down again pretty quickly when done
