When the watch start to count steps

Hi,

How can I force my Charge 2 to count steps properly.

Sometime, I walk 10 or 15 steps and the Fitit Charge 2 doesn't do anything. It's like ignoring the steps.

Others, i count 10 steps and appear in the watch 9 or 11 or 12. Never the right number

Another question is. How can I allow the software to inform Apple Health? Is this compatible with Apple?

Appreciate some feedback.

Cheers.

There are free apps that sync your fitbit data to apple health, this is not integrated in the FitBit app itself.

Seeing your Charge 2 is worn on the wrist, it can never measure steps to the exact last number. When you take 10 and it reports 9 to 12 it is doing a really good job for a tracker worn on the wrist. If you need it to be more precise, you have to look into a different kind of tracker. However, the mistakes it makes are always similar, so you can still gauge if you are increasing your activity levels. On the total amount of steps during a day it won't have a big impact.

It actually will ignore 5-10 steps if that’s all you do; part of why it doesn’t count a step every time you move your hands.  But if you keep on moving it will include those first few steps in your daily total.  A better step test would be 100 steps instead of 10.  I usually check the start number and then just count every time my left foot hits the ground up to 50 then multiply by 2.  Usually it is within 5 steps and it all seems to average out over the course of the day.

Power Sync for Fitbit or Sync for FitBit are just two.
