Is anyone aware of a way to track shoe distance? Other apps will track the total mileage on a pair of shoes so that I know when they need to be replaced. I can't figure out if there is a way to do this using the fitbit app. I am using a fitbit Surge.

Hi @ddarche - Great idea! I use the Nike + app and that is a helpful feature. Fitbit doesn't have this as of now. Please check out the Feature Request forum (below) and if you don't see this listed there, please add it. If it is there, please comment and/or vote for it!

I use the Smart Phone app Strava for monitoring my gear.
If you cycle, you can add your bike, and for running/walking, you can add shoes. It will even send you a notification if you start getting close to your set distance.
I also use it to keep tabs on all my cycling and running. Great app, highly recommend it
