a drop in step count

Hi.Offlate i have been sitting a lot because of long meetings and an increase in the number of patients.Any ideas. My daily average has dropped from 13 k a day ( nearly the whole of 2015 and middleof last year ) to 10 k a day .

Any ideas?

Have any of u experienced a drop like this ?

I think it’s normal for the step count of a working person to fluctuate based on workload. Since you have limited impact on your activity during working days, you need to compensate during weekends. However, a drop from 13k to 10k is not the end of the world: 10k is still a respectable level of activity for someone with a busy desk job, and well above the median for the total population. If you’re worried about the impact on your weight, you just need to adjust your intake accordingly.

Only when I have been injured I had dropped by steps. When I am on vacation then my steps go down obviously. If you want to get more steps in, you could wake up earlier and go for a walk or do it when you get home from work to get more steps. Another tip....park your car far away from your work and walk in. More steps!
