changing miles to kilometers

I just received my new fitbit.  the distance is measured in Miles but I would like to change it to KM's  can anyone give me instructions to change it?

Welcome, fellow user of metric units!

If you click the gears on the top right of your dashboard, you will find your settings. Under your personal info, locate 'Units' under 'Advanced Settings'. It's not mentioned there, but the cm vs feet/inches also goes for km vs miles, so if you switch it to centimeters, you also get the kilometers.

Remember to submit the changes at the bottom of the page.
