Be careful of the calories burned data. There have been posts that suggest that the steps may be better but the calories are not accurate when worn on the ankle.

People are often way too focused on steps. Fitbits are marketed as activity trackers or fitness trackers, not step trackers. Activity and fitness go way beyond a step count, steps are just one metrics. The big picture (step-wise) is whether you’re getting 5k steps or 15k steps, not whether a few hundreds of these steps are "fake" steps, or whether a few "real" steps failed to be detected. These are the tree that hides the forest. In other words, spend your time and energy actually moving, instead of overthinking the "inaccuracy" of your Fitbit.
