my heart rate is all over the place. I use an under the desk treadmill that I casually walk on all day. about twice a day I go a little harder to reach my goals for the morning and afternoon and I notice that my heart rate tracking is never as accurate as I would imagine it to be when I am sweating as much as I am and going as hard as I am. Does anyone else have this happen to them? is there a fix?

Optical heart rate monitors have a number of issues that affect their accuracy. We usually talk about a snug fit for the tracker, but there are other factors such as skin tone, and tattoos. Obviously the optical sensors and the LEDs need to be clean.
