After taking it easy for 10 weeks because of a hurt knee. I started doing my walking again. Have been at it for about 4 weeks now. Am back to between 4500 and 7000 steps a day. Hope to be back to 10,000 steps a day by first week of October. Have also been changing how I eat, as I am still working at trying to drop about 12lbs. Been trying to eat more fruits and vegies, and drink more water. I found if I add lemon juice to water i will drink more water.

Good luck and have fun while exercising! Remember it's important to have fun, or make sure you are happy while exercising and that it's nothing against what you want. 10,000 steps a day is a good goal to set. I'd recommend getting up every hour if your tracker has to ability to remind you every hour you don't get a set amount of steps (mine is currently set for 250+ per hour from 9 am to 5 pm on weekdays). That helps keep the motivation. Also try to aim a goal to grab some badges that Fitbit offers. That's what I did to motivate me. I have maybe 15 or more badges in just over 2 months of having my Fitbit.
