... but it sure tastes good drenched in butter (or "almost butter") and sprinkled with Tony Chachere's creole seasoning!*

Odyssey13,
Going to Greece is still on my bucket list. But Greek seasoning? I've never heard of that. Sounds interesting. Is there one that you would recommend?
This all started with our eating at a mom and pop local hamburger place, @rightdx They keep big containers in a shaker to use on the fries or whatever you want. I begin with it on fries and now use it in my salad or burger. It is addictive!
They buy it in bulk and there was no way I needed a huge tub of it, so I began my search. It wasn't easy, being in a small area, but after looking at all the grocery stores, there it was - McCormick's Greek Seasoning. It's a bit different from the one at the restaurant as the one they have is finely ground like table pepper. The McCormick one is easy to see when you shake it on food and has more of a minty flavor. My husband says my green beans taste better than ever with just a bit of this stuff in the water while steaming. I use it on chicken, burgers and haven't tired of using it yet.
Greece would be an incredible place to see. You think they use Greek seasoning over there?
