I've had Fitbit for a while now, and never had any issues with it. When it comes to logging my calories in the app, I use the barcode scanner a lot, and I've also relied on using the flashlight feature to make scanning easier. However, when I recently switched to a new phone (Samsung Galaxy a12) at Christmas, I found that the flashlight no longer turns on within the Fitbit barcode scanner - despite the flashlight itself functioning normally otherwise. Has anyone else encountered this issue? How do I fix it?

Clear the hardware hub of any debris or dust. Plug the USB scanner into a different port on the hardware hub. Refer to the Quick Start Guide included in the packaging of your USB scanner. Select the quick guide specific to your USB scanner.
