Food Grouping

Im not sure if this is possible, I dont believe it is because I looked for quite a while and there is no really easy way to do it.

 

I would like to be able to add a bunch of foods under one name such as Protein Shake, and when you click on that have it come up with everything I put in it, 

 

While I could add a custom food and calculate all the calories and fats myself and just add it as a new food, I change up my shakes, sometimes I use kale instead of 50/50 spring mix, sometimes blueberries and sometimes strawberries.

 

Its not a huge deal but I would like to be able to group foods that go together in one bowl or cup, like cerial, I would like to title it Cheerios, and when you click on that It would show 1 cup of milk, 2.5oz multigrain cheerios and 1 tsp of honey. instead of all of that showing as seperate foods.

Yes, you can do it.  When you're in the log portion, you'll see a box called favorites.  There are tabs for foods and meals.  Choose the meal tab, then create a new meal.  The only negative is that added meals don't show up under searches.  You need to go into the favourites tab and find it.  I sometimes use an old copy of FitDay I have and build larger recipes in there.  However, some go to items I've built as meals in this way.

 

When you add it to your daily log though it logs as the individual items.
