Fruits and Veggies being Counted?

So I am at a crossroads here. Would you count veggies and fruit in your calories for the day? I am going for 750 calorie deficit and so far it's going very slowly. I don't count veggies and fruit in terms of eating within my calories goal...could this be why?

What do you all think?

I can understand you wanting to encourage eating veggies and fruit but calories are calories wherever they come from and count towards your daily total. So, in my view, they should be included.

Are you using the fitbit app to log your food intake and calculate your deficit? If not, you might want to give it a try. See: https://help.fitbit.com/articles/en_US/Help_article/1375.htm?Highlight=food

I would definitely include them. If you want this to be as accurate and useful as possible, then you should count all calories, whatever their sources. That includes fruits and veggies, but also drinks like Coca Cola, coffee with milk and/or sugar, etc ...

I will also move this to the Healthy Eating section.
