In Canada we have wonderful Hemp foods; Hemp Hearts, Fat reduced hemp flakes and powders, Meal replacement bars (1/4 of a bar with a cup of tea fills me up!), desserts (another meal replacement).
For breakfast, I have a mix of old fashioned rolled oats, hemp hearts, fat reduced hemp flakes and powder all in equal portions (about 15 grams of each), plus cinnamon and stevia. Microwave with at least a cup of water on medium for 10 -12 minutes. Add frozen unsweetened berries (out of my garden!) and 0% greek yogurt. Voila`! Around 300 calories, 38% carbs, 29% fats, 32% protein. That is my highest fat meal. Keeps me going for hours.
Best Answer@Dragonpuff: That's an excellent breakfast idea. Haven't seen hemp powder. But have hemp hearts and flakes. I add it to my overnight oats as one of my topping. Thanks for sharing!

I put hemp hearts in my smoothies. I was always looking for a healthy fat (other than nut butters) and they fit the bill.
