today there are a lot of applications where you can track calories. if one doesn't work for you, try another. do not suffer.

I haven't tried the fitbit app yet for calorie tracking, so I'm still using MyFitnessPal which seems good to me.

There are plenty of various apps in iOS or Android markets, just choose the best one for yourself. Personally, I don't use such apps but for many it's helpful. By the way, share your favorite recipes please. I want to cook something new, yesterday I bought the Best Boning Knives and can't wait to test them.

How is your Fitbit connected to your account? I'm using the Windows 10 app to track my calories and it's so easy to do after a while (use the online bit to add new foods to the database though, 'cos the app doesn't let you add decimal points to it unfortunately).
If you're using the Windows 10 app too, look for a knife and fork within a circle, click on that, then the + in the line of options in the top right and away you go! Remember to select the meal then the tick at the bottom for each food you eat though, otherwise it'll log it wrongly (if you don't select the meal) or not at all (if you don't tick each food).
It's frustrating when you first start using it, but it's standard practise for me now 🙂
