Progress Update

I'm taking a rest day while on vacation and I wanted to post an update.  Good news.  I've maintained my 10 lb. weight loss on vacation.  And, my blood pressure is the best it's ever been since my healthy lifestyle journey began seven months ago.  I need to lose 20 lbs. to reach my goal weight.  I tried Volumetrics and I would recommend it for maintainance, but not for weight loss.  DASH was not sustainable.  Although, I continue a low sodium/low fat/low sugar diet.  I lost the 10 lbs., and lost 6 inches from my waist, with Noom.  Today, I received an email from Noom.  They gave me 90% off for a one year membership, so I took it.  They said I could reach my goal weight by April and then maintain it after.  I think that's a bit fast, but I will stay with the program until I reach and maintain my goal weight for several months.  Slow and steady wins the race.  I'm more focused on healthy habits than how quickly the weight comes off.  Please feel free to share your successes and any information about what is working for you, if you like.  We're all in this journey together and we're all going to make it!
