Best AnswerCraving sweets in the afternoon is normal. The body is looking for a pick me up. I usually save one of my fruit servings for the afternoon. My normal routine is an egg white omelet with spinach and tomatoes first thing, a piece of fruit between breakfast and lunch, a salad with protein for lunch, another piece of fruit in the afternoon, then veggies and protein for supper. If I need something else in between, I will whip up a protein shake. I have to earn my carbs. 🙂

@CheNicole hello... I moved your post to the eat well board it will get more attention here.
My favorite snack between dinner and lunch for the past few weeks is cup unsweetened almond milk with 14grams of cocoa puffs cereal (because aren't we all really 5 years old). Its 80 calories of chocolate goodness plus calcium. Yes, sugar- but I am not anti sugar so it works for me.

Hi everyone, it's great to see so many good suggestions here!
I usually have oatmeal with a banana in the morning for breakfast, or hard boiled eggs. For lunch I definitely include more veggies than anything else and some protein, and for dinner I have veggies and maybe some carbs.
In between snacks have been a little more difficult for me, but I try to have one fruit or rice cookies with no salt and some low fat ricotta cheese. 😁
