Did you mean:

Snacking at supper time.

I was just pondering the journey I've begun to a healthier life.

It's 2230 here in :united_kingdom:, so time for supper and bed.

Towards the end of last year, I'd have had a huge bag of Wine Gums or Jelly Babies for supper, sometimes (okay, often!) followed by a large bar of chocolate.

No wonder I was morbidly obese!

Tonight I'm having something quite different...Super Supper!Super Supper!

Just a small handful of dates and mixed tree nuts. And I only have both because today was "long run day".

The thought of going back to sweets and chocolate makes me feel quite unwell!

Anyone else have thoughts on supper?

I had a lighter lunch (chicken & mushroom stew over roast veggies) so I took some cabbage rolls and a piece of patychky (meat on a stick).  Although I generally eat about the same calories lunch and dinner I'll often trade one off for the other.  If I'm still awake in an hour I'll take a snack.  I'm hoping not to be though.  I've been getting up at 5am, at the expense of not getting enough sleep.  I'm trying to get into an early to bed routine.

I eat 3 meals and two snacks so it is rare that I eat after 6pm.  But if my daughter gets something out, I'll sometimes sit with her - tonight she had fresh cherries so I had a handful too.  🙂
