Welcome to the forums @tails73! In this case, the best course of action is to visit a registered dietitian, since there are several variants of fructose malabsorption or intolerance.
Unless someone presents a condition similar to yours, I don't believe advising products is safe. Consult your Doctor for additional assistance ![]()
Best AnswerI agree. For those who can't metabolize fructose (ie hereditary fructose intolerance). intake of fructose can be quite dangerous.
If you have fructose malabsorption (this is different from heritery fructose intolerance) leading to gas, the first thing is not to self diagnose, as there are other disorders that can mimic this (for example celiac disease). Get checked by a physician, get a proper diagnosis and then see a dietician.
There are many foods with fructose, including most if not all fruits, honey, agave, syrup, molases, anything with high fructose corn syrup, table sugar, etc.
