Fitbit Inspire 2 not tracking sleep

I have tried all of the solutions suggested on the forum but it is still not working. I will leave it now until tomorrow and hope that the problem self corrects overnight.

1. Tracker is charged and is set to on wrist.

2. Heart rate is being monitored.

3. Am wearing it on non dominant wrist correctly.

4. Have restarted tracker.

5. Points look fine.

6. have changed sleep setting to sensitive.

I have the same issue. Rebooted the tracker, then restarted the IPhone when I noticed that the app showed that fully charged battery was at 11% after a few forced synchs. That fixes incorrect battery charge but still no sleep data.

Mine tracked sleep for a day or 2 and then stopped. I disconnected it from the app and started again. That worked. For 2 days. Now it has stopped tracking sleep again. I’m beyond frustrated.

Same situation here. It worked for one night and since then it has not given me a sleep score. It does track my awake and restless times but no sleep score.

Thank you for being so concise in the information you gave Fitbit. I too am having the same problem as others who have replied to your message. It would be nice if someone from Fitbit would address our problem.

I got mine for Christmas. Charged and got it set to go that day. It accurately tracked my sleep for seven nights. The last two nights it says that it can’t accurately track my sleep cycle. I’m sorry it isn’t working for you, but it seems a lot of us are having the same issues !

I tried the sync trick outlined on YouTube by Worldoftech, he offers it as a fix for multiple types of fitbits. It worked, I had a sleep score this morning, but it is a fix that has to be repeated every night before going to bed.

 

Two points. When I checked my Fitbit on waking I got a false error message that the app on my iPad could not sync to my tracker. There was no problem with syncing and I saw a sleep score on the tracker.

 

When I checked the app there was a sleep score but the detailed info did not appear straight away. I was prompted to add a sleep log. I ignored this and persisted with trying to access the data from the sleep score and eventually it worked.

 

This suggests to me that this aspect of the Fitbit software is imperfect. Mine is still under warranty so am wondering if I should return it and but another brand of device.

I saw this suggested somewhere and tried it last night. I did not start the sleep mode and this morning I woke up and received a sleep score, along with all the data on deep sleep, rem, etc. So try that if we don't hear from support about how to fix this issue.

Thanks. Last night I changed the sensitivity in the sleep page, and I
rebooted the fit bit. Everything worked. We’ll see what happens tonight.

Thanks for trying to troubleshoot your Inspire 2 before reaching out. I recommend considering the following in order to get sleep stages:

 

  • If you slept in a position that prevented your device from getting a consistent heart-rate reading or wore it too loosely. For best results, wear your device higher on your wrist (about 2-3 finger widths above your wrist bone). The band should feel secure but not too tight.
  • If you used the Begin Sleep Now option in the Fitbit app (instead of simply wearing your device to bed). For more information on automatic sleep tracking, see How do I track my sleep with my Fitbit device?
  • If you slept for less than 3 hours.
  • If your device’s battery is critically low.
  • Restart your Inspire 2 as suggested here How do I restart my Fitbit device?

This is my 2nd Fitbit and most frustrating. It recorded fine for the first few weeks then stopped recording sleep. Also stopped accurately syncing battery life with app. I have tried all the suggestions and still nothing. I have been able to unlink the device with the app and relink it to solve the battery issue. Never had problems like this with my other Fitbit Charge 3

Mine was fine but now registrado time I went to sleep incorrectly and will not accept modifications
