This is happening more and more with workouts. The fitbit inspire 3 is reading the heart rate decently and when showing the workout on the app the time is right, but the app and online dashboard zone minutes do not correspond to the line graph or reality of workout. This morning my 30 minute workout was all in zone and shows that is was in zone with a 126bpm average, the zone minutes say only 14 minutes were in zone..

Hello @lbhull and welcome to the Community. First, there are known bugs on the web dashboard. For example, the heart rate trace in your screenshot is all red, indicating peak heart rate. Second, the web dashboard was never updated to show active zone minutes. Please don’t try to compare the two graphs. Please use the mobile app graph.

The issue has continued, but if I rotate the fitbit to the underside of my wrist and make it snug, then it only records a few below zone minutes or none at all.I am assuming it is the intensity of the workout causing the fitbit to lose track of the heart rate. I checked my husband's workout and found the same issue. I am attaching a screenshot that shows the graph all above zone except for 45 seconds, but has the app recording 10 minutes below zone.
It is my assumption that the graph just picks up where it left off and connects the line. It is reasonable to assume that if my heart rate is 125 and a minute or two later it is 126 that it never went below zone. However, I believe the software sees the gaps and when the sync is done it counts those gaps as below zone.
