Cannot set Google Calendar notifications on Inspire 3?

Please can someone at Fitbit ILLUSTRATE each and every setting on iPhones when you use Google Calendar for your diary and alerts. Posting a tired troubleshooting link will provoke me - I have spent HOURS fiddling with this. If it it was simple, I wouldn’t have a problem. I am not stupid. So, no chirpy **ahem**ic questions, no links to manuals, a genuine step by step move to ensure it works - go deep - iCloud settings etc etc

Hi, @Fitnees, welcome, sadly I do not use an iPhone but I can describe where the setting you need is on the Fitbit app on Android which is very similar. From the "Today" screen touch your icon in the top left corner>Inspire 3 tile>notifications>calendar events>if you have a google calendar installed on your phone you will be offered it as the default calendar app>ensure the slider in the top right is in the on position. Return to the Today screen & sync your Fitbit app.

I hope this helps but if you are still stuck investigate iOS App - Fitbit Community where specific iOS issues are posted.

@Fitnees   As you know, the Fitbit app for iOS only allows Apple Calendar in the Notification Settings.  You can link your Google Calendar to your Apple Calendar by doing the following:

  • Open the Settings app on your iPhone
  • Scroll all the way down to Calendar
  • Tap on Accounts
  • Tap on Add Account > Google
  • Make sure you have Calendar events on in your Fitbit app notifications

This Google Support page has some additional information.  I use Apple Calendar as my regular calendar.  Fitbit uses Google Calendar for all of its events.  Everything I get on my Google Calendar goes to my Apple Calendar.  I all get my Google Calendar notifications on my Fitbit.

I hope this helps.
