Cannot set a specific weight goal

Replies are disabled for this topic. Start a new one or visit our Help Center.

I realized today that I can only set a weight goal by increments of 5. This is a huge frustration for me and my doctor/trainer as I am trying to lose specific pounds of weight each period. Now, I have to over-starve myself to get an in between number. Who the hell thought this made any **ahem** sense? It’s a calculator. Please change this back. It’s absolutely useless and ridiculous.

Hi, @Lllllll456 , welcome to the community. As you are working in pounds touch the weight tile on the Fitbit "Today" screen in your Fitbit app on your phone>touch the three dots in the top right corner>weight settings>weight (target value)>touch the large number above "Tips for a health goal" and you'll get a flashing indicator & numerical keypad where you can change any digit.

I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Cheers

I don’t know which version of the app or type of Fitbit you have but I do not have most of these options you listed. It all takes you to the same screen that only allows you to adjust the weight by increments of 5.

Hi, @Lllllll456, I have an Inspire 3 on SW 4.34.1 and a Pixel 8 pro running Android 15, both are up to date. The screen I described is this -

If you do not touch the large weight number you are presented with this screen-

touching the + or - results in changes of a whole Kilo in my case. If I set my weight to pounds changes are in 5lb increments.

I hope this helps, please post here again & let us know how you get on.

Cheers

@Gr4ndp4   This option is not available on the iOS version.  😡

Yeah, I looked at Reddit too. It seems that it's the case for everyone across the board with the newest update. Frustrating! I wish there were a way to send feedback directly to the company.

Thanks, - L
