Distance on Inspire 3 is inaccurate. Screenshots attached.

Hi! I just received my Inspire 3, and most things seem to be working correctly. I'm still learning, so there will be user error in certain situations. However, my distance is very inaccurate…if you look at the screenshots I've attached, you'll see what I mean. It states 1.28 miles on the dashboard, but then states 2,067.52 of 3.25 miles on the Distance "page". I've already uninstalled the app and reinstalled it, as well as made sure background refresh is on, the location is on, the app is updated, and the device itself is updated. Anyone else have this issue? Or know what I can do to fix this? Both screenshots should be below. Thanks so much for any help!

I’m having problems with it counting the correct miles. My inspire was working fine, they did an update and I lose 1/2 the mileage on my daily walks. What used to login as 1.5 miles is now showing as anywhere from.5-.89 miles. Plus I’m not swinging my arms, I’m concentrating on my balance…I’m 80 yo & recovering from an infection that almost took my leg/life! I’m whole still but getting tired of this

Just replying to my post to see if it will bump it up. Anyone have any ideas? This issue is still happening. Today, my distance is 3.47 miles, but when I click it to go to the distance dashboard, it shows 5,593.63 of 3.5 miles. It’s so odd! Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

Hello @SomethingEls25 and welcome to the Community.  There is a bug in the iOS app and it is converting your distance to meters.  Fitbit is aware, but there is no time frame for a fix.

Hi @Houndlady44 and welcome to you, too.  I'm sorry, but you need a certain amount of arm swing for a wrist tracker to count a step.  The Inspire 3 has an On Wrist/On Body option.  You can get a more accurate step count by using this feature, but it turns the heart rate monitor off and you lose other features.

Oh wow, thank you for the info! I had checked the forums, but only saw the Android issue. I must have missed the iOS issue. I’m so sorry. Thank you for letting me know. I so appreciate it!

Have you received an answer? My numbers are finally beginning to move up. I
have been walking the same walks for the past 2 1/2 years while I learned
how to use my leg again. After 16 surgeries to rid it of an infection,
thanks to global warming. They are getting closer, but still not what I had
been getting on these same 3 walks.

I have this same issue. Today my distance details shows "231.4 of 3.11 miles. You've exceeded your daily goal. Way to go!".  This problem only occurs for the current day. Yesterday was wrong yesterday but is right today. It seems like if Google can get it right for previous days they should be able to fix it for the current day if they wanted to instead of blaming Apple.
