There was an article saying the Inspire 3 would be getting a firmware update. The number listed was 210.26. Has anyone received this update yet? I haven't and just wanted to check. Thanks!

Well the Fitbit is smaller and battery lasts 10 days. Any clock is going to be huge and last a day.

Update is great. There's nothing wrong with it not much changed

Obviously, I already did, so...

That's BS and an idiotic comment. It used to just show the clock face while I was walking, the same as when not walking, and now it's completely different, so that IS a big change.

So I just put in a pretty big update, (one of those 20 minute updates) don't know if it was a firmware. Now my map tracking feature is gone, and exercises start themselves. Bluetooth connects, but phone doesn't tell me that GPS is running!!!...that sucks!!!...good luck everyone else!!!

This has been my experience with the firmware update. Fitbit does not map my walk when I start the exercise WALK using the inspire 3 device. I also do not see the GPS location arrow on the Inspire 3 device since the firmware update. The iOS location service is always on for my iPhone for all apps. Still no map & inspire 3 is bluetooth connected according to my iphone settings. The lack of the GPS icon in the firmware update means I have no idea whether or not it is mapping, and once done with the exercise, I find there is no map generated.
So, I start the WALK exercise on the iOS app on the iPhone with location services turned on and I get a map when done, but I cannot turn off auto-recognize exercise, so I get 2 logs of exercise, one from the iOS app and one from the inspire 3 which has less distance and time, and whatever exercise is first in the list on the inspire 3. If there is an comfirmation setting, I can’t see it in the bright sun and the print is too small for these old eyes to read. And the auto-exercise feature won’t turn off (I have all set to ignore and it still wants to autorecognize).
I am recovering from brain surgery which had left my right side partially paralyzed, but getting better. I use a 4-wheel walker outdoors and use the Fitbit GPS to determine my actual distance traveled, heart rate zone, and pacing since I walk on uneven ground outdoors and need to get an idea of my progress & conditioning. I need to know just how difficult walking a steeper incline is because I know from the map where they should be.
I have restarted the app many times,, resync’d the inspire 3 many times, and just did a hard restart of the inspire 3 just now. Let’s see if it works today. Or not

That's odd. Mine shows GPS but I'm on Android. Before you hit start and scroll down and look for GPS setting.

Where does it say GPS connected?
With the firmware update Inspire 3 screen no longer has a gps icon, and the inspire 3 does not vibrate when connected to GPS.
In my iOS app, I see the GPS arrow in the upper left, but when starting the exercise on my Inspire 3 since the firmware update, it will not map.

OMG!
It worked! I’ve never seen these settings before! I see GPS, turned it on, and got the arrow on the display. I saw auto-start and turned it off because I want to start the exercise myself when I walk out the door, not wait until it knows I am walking more briskly. With a walker once I get going.
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

In the prior firmware version, the GPS was either always on or on by default. I have never seen this screen before and the GPS always connected automatically as soon as I started an exercise. Since the GPS function only works with the phone, I'm not sure why an on/off setting on the tracker is needed.

The setting stays. Mine was always turned on I never touched it. It saves phone battery if you turn it off

Privacy. Google Maps has that option to turn off geotracking, and may have incorporated the default non tracking unless the user gives permission.

I got it Saturday and it messed up one of the clock faces which is annoying

This is exactly my issue! I can’t see a running total of my daily steps either. How am I supposed to know when I’ve hit certain figures if all I get is the step total for that one particular walk?!

Scroll down on the main screen for daily steps. What happened to your clock face?
