Today the Food Database has a message that it’s not available in the U.S. This morning I added a custom food entry and now it’s the only thing I can do. Yes, I’ve done all the steps in previous posts (restarts, deleting app and reinstalling, etc). It’s very frustrating.

Just my 2 cents... I was beta testing a Preview version of the Fitbit app a few days ago. The only features that weren't yet available on it was the Food features. They were supposed to be adding those features anytime now. I strongly suspect they were trying to do just that, and instead messed up the entire food database for all of us.

]I'm astounded that the only way to get fixes in this app is to look at a community board with no direct service from Fitbit (Google) company, but I guess because I only paid once with my Fitbit watch that must be the reason Fitbit will not provide direct customer service for the app not working. Seems very unfair to the folks that pay premium if this is how they get service too!

Best AnswerIt started working (2pm US PT) but not in full performance. when I type in food, it took a long time but it eventually shows up the suggestions. I'd say wait a little longer, it may be fully back.
