Hi, All my exercise types are set to ignore and yet my inspire 3 will regularly start the auto-exercise recognition. It's extremely frustrating as I'm trying to view other information without pausing my run and fiddling with this auto-recognition setting. Help!!!

Hello @kcastagnoli and welcome to the Community.  The Inspire 3 has a feature in its Exercise app called Run Detect.  It activates the Exercise app when it detects that you are running and it is on by default.  This feature is different from the automatically recognized activities that you set to ignore.  I don't wear an Inspire 3, but here are the instructions from the manual to customize your exercise settings:

  • Swipe left/right to the Exercise app and open it
  • Select Run
  • Swipe up on the screen to see all the setting options
  • Look for Run Detect and toggle it off

I moved your post to the Inspire 3 forum, a better fit for this issue.  There is a link to the Inspire 3 manual on this page, if you need it.

Thank you so much! This was a quick fix! I have pulled my hair out doing sub-optimal searching online. I'm so grateful!
